TIRUNELVELI: Members of Bharat Scouts and Guides and Green Corps formed a human chain here on Thursday to create awareness among the public of conserving wildlife and forests.

200 students take part

Over 200 students participated in the human chain formed between Central Theatre and Tirunelveli Town Arch.

Dr. Mohanraj Ebenezer of Department of Zoology, St. John’s College, U. Joel Rivingston, headmaster of Schaffter Higher Secondary School, Rani Kirubairaj, in-charge of Green Corps and others spoke at a function held after forming the human chain.
