HOSUR: Bronze statues worth Rs. 5 lakh were stolen from the Seetha Ramar Temple at M. Thatiganapalli in Bagalur near Hosur on Thursday. According to the police, some unidentified persons broke open the lock at the main entrance of the temple and took away three bronze statues. The temple priests, Samaya and Munusamy, on Thursday, found the locks of the main gate broken and the statues missing. On hearing the news, the residents thronged the temple.
