Garrison engineer nabbed by CBI

VISAKHAPATNAM: A Garrison Engineer (executive engineer) of the Directorate General Naval Project (DGNP) here was caught red-handed by the CBI while accepting bribe. The accused, R.K. Vazirani, 55, llegedly demanded Rs.1.5 lakh for awarding a work contract for providing private security at the alternative operating base of the Indian Navy under construction at Rambilli in the district.-–Staff Reporter
