Quota in private institutions

HYDERABAD: A Bill providing reservations for the SCs, STs and BCs for appointments in all private educational institutions was passed unanimously in the Assembly on Thursday. According to the Andhra Pradesh Education (Amendment) Act, 2008, these reservations will conform to the communal rotation roaster. School Education Minister C. Damodar Raj Narasimha said the Bill was taken up in tune with recent Supreme Court ruling.
