TIRUVARUR: The district administration has made elaborate arrangements for the devotees to worship ‘Lord Guru Bhagawan’ at the famous Aapathsahayeswararaswamy temple at Alangudi in connection with the ‘Guru Peyarchi’ on Saturday. Laksharchana for Guru Bhagawan, the deity at the temple, one of the Navagraha shrines, that commenced on November 27 concluded on Thursday. The ‘Guru Peyarchi’ occurs at 10.48 a.m. on Saturday when Guru Bhagawan (Jupiter) transits from Dhanur Rasi to Makara Rasi on that day. Coincides with Babri Masjid demolition daySecurity has been tightened at the temple on the ‘Guru Peyarchi’ day which coincides with the Babri Masjid demolition day. Several lakhs of devotees are expected to offer worship at the temple on Saturday.
