Bangalore: The city police have made alternative arrangements for movement of vehicles on Maruthinagar Main Road in Madivala Traffic Police limits in view of the commencement of work on the storm-water drain by the Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) to prevent rainwater from flowing onto the road. The following arrangements will be in force for a month, during which the work is expected to be completed. Movement of vehicles from BTM Layout 16th Main Junction and Maruthinagar Main Road towards Sarjapura Junction to reach Koramangala and check-post has been prohibited. Instead, vehicles from BTM 16th Main Junction can move towards Koramangala and Adugodi via Tavarekere Main Road by turning right at the Tavarekere Junction and Dr. Marigowda Road check-post. Movement of vehicles from Koramangala water tank road towards BTM 16th Main Junction via Ayyappa Temple, Madivala Main Road, Maruthinagar Main Road, BTM 100 ft Ring Road has also been prohibited. Alternatively, vehicles, after reaching Madivala Main Road from Koramangala water tank, have to move via check-post, Dr. Marigowda Road and Tavarekere Junction or via Krupanidhi Junction, Madivala Market Road and Central Silk Board. © Copyright 2000 - 2009 The Hindu |
