Change in TNEB billing cycle

CHENNAI: The Tamil Nadu Electricity Board (TNEB) has changed billing cycles for areas in Mudichur consequent to the formation of the new Mudichur section, which has been bifurcated from Perungalathur section.

A release said that the billing cycles of November 2008 in the areas had been changed to December 2008. The areas where this would be applicable are Kamaraj Nedunchalai West – 253/620, 621 and 622; Annai Indira Nagar Road, West Part – 253/624; Kumaran Nagar South Part – 253/625, 626, 637; and 253/644.

The assessment for the bills would be done from December 16, and the collection accepted from January 2, 2009.
