Simpson jailed for up to 33 years

New York: American football legend O.J. Simpson was jailed, on Friday, for up to 33 years for kidnapping and armed robbery of two sports memorabilia dealers in Las Vegas. The sentences, on 12 counts, add up to 33 years, but the 61-year-old former National Football star would be eligible for parole after nine years. — PTI
