Beagles wins a thriller

BANGALORE: Riding on Rakesh’s brilliant effort, Beagles snatched a thrilling 60-59 win over Kanaka (Kolar) in the men’s section of the State Association Cup basketball championship in Kolar on Monday. In another contest, Indiranagar Basket Ball Club won 72-55 over BEL with Shivraj accounting for 20 points for the winner.
