BANGALORE: Two persons hacked to death a 45-year-old man in Sarabandepalya in Kumaraswamy Layout police station limits on Sunday. The police said Syed Kasim (45), a resident of Sarabandepalya, was on his motorcycle near his house when he was attacked by the two men with a machete and a sword. He died on the spot. A passer-by informed the police of the incident. The police gave the names of the suspects as Doulat Khan and Irshad Pasha. They also suspect the hand of Diwan Ali Khan in the crime. Khan and his alleged associates had frequent clashes with Kasim and his supporters, the police said. It is said that Kasim was a police informant. Burgled Four houses were burgled in the city on Sunday. Cash and gold ornaments were taken away from the house of Dasappa Shetty, a retired government servant, in Kasturi Nagar in Ramamurthy Nagar police station limits. The police said Shetty and his family had gone to a marriage when the incident occurred.
