IT firms hire BMTC buses

BANGALORE: On the first day of the strike by the cab drivers of IT/BT establishments and call centres, many IT and ITES companies made alternative arrangements, including hiring Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) buses and car pooling, for the transportation of their employees on Monday. As it was the beginning of the week, there was some confusion in the morning and the situation became manageable later.
