Parachute Regiment School retains trophy

BANGALORE: Parachute Regiment School organised its annual Inder Singh Gill Memorial Inter-School Debate Competition 2008-09 recently. Shree Nair, Shwetha Krishnappa and B.A. Sreedhar were the judges. “Justice delayed is justice denied” was the topic. Students of the host school were successful in retaining the rolling trophy. Apoorva V.K. and Priyanka Navale of the school were adjudged the best speakers. Col. Amit Pandey gave away the prizes.

‘Khoj 2008’

National Public School at Koramangala organised “Khoj 2008”, a science exhibition, recently. Chairman of National Public Schools Gopalakrishna inaugurated it.

Students displayed projects and models on animal life, plant life, sound, light and water.

Senior students demonstrated projects in physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics and social studies. It was a learning experience for the visitors.

Sports Day

CMR National Public School at Banaswadi organised “Spectrum”, primary section’s Sports Day, recently. Sanjay Sahay, Additional Commissioner of Police, declared the sports meet open. His wife Lily Sahay was the guest of honour. They gave away prizes to the winners. Mr. Sahay told the students to emulate Abhinav Bindra, gold medal winner at the Beijing Olympics. Principal Sabitha Ramamurthy was present.
