Dattatreya campaigns for nominee

In support: BJP State president Bandaru Dattatreya at the ‘Swadeshi mela’ in Karimnagar on Wednesday.

HYDERABAD: State BJP president B. Dattatreya will undertake a tour of Karimnagar, Adilabad/Nirmal, Sangareddy/Medak and Nizamabad areas till December 13 to mobilise support for P. Venkata Ramana Reddy, party’s nominee for the Legislative Council elections from the Graduates’ constituency in four Telangana districts.

Purchases

Karimnagar Staff Reporter adds: BJP State president Bandaru Dattatreya visited the ‘Swadeshi mela’ and went round all the stalls in Karimnagar town on Wednesday.

He also interacted with the women self-help groups (SHGs) selling various products and others and also made some purchases at the ‘mela’.

BJP Kisan Morcha State president P. Sugunakar Rao, Swadeshi Jagaram Manch State convenor Appala Prasad, BJP leaders Baddam Bal Reddy, B. Jaganmohan Rao and others were also present.

Campaign

Adilabad Staff Reporter adds: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) State president Bandaru Dattatreya will campaign for the party’s candidate in the ensuing MLC elections from the Graduates’ constituency here.

He will solicit the support of officials working in government offices during his campaign.

Disclosing this at a press conference BJP state secretary Prem Singh Rathod appealed to voters to vote for party candidate Venkatnarayan Reddy who is also being supported by Nava Telagana Party (NTP).

Committed

He said the BJP was committed for fulfilling the aspirations of people in Telangana by carving out a separate state once it returns to power in the Centre.
