SJM Board meeting held

HYDERABAD: The Salar Jung Museum (SJM) Board meeting for 2008-09 was held on Wednesday. The meeting was chaired by Governor N.D. Tiwari.

The Board reviewed the educational activities and developmental works of the museum to enhance the visitor capacity. It suggested implementation of new programmes such as audio tours, which would benefit foreign visitors. Director of SJM presented Rs.1,31,000 to the Red Cross Society. Dolly Chakraborthy, Accountant-General, AP, B. Seetha Rama Raju, Syed Zakiir Hussian, newly nominated members of the government and Nawab Ahtheram Ali Khan, Member of the Board, were present at the meeting.
