Selected for quiz competition

N.G. Akash, Sarja Ajay, M.S. Shambhavi and B.R. Megha who have been selected for the State-level quiz competition to be held in Bangalore.

SHIMOGA: Four secondary school students of Shimoga district have been selected to participate in a State-level quiz competition to be held in Bangalore.

They are N.G. Akash and Sarja Ajay of the DVS Composite Junior College of Shimoga and M.S. Shambhavi and B.R. Megha of the Government Composite Junior College of Shiralakoppa in Shikaripur taluk.

They were selected at the district-level quiz competition 2008-09 which was conducted at the Rotary East School here on Wednesday under the joint auspices of the Karnataka Rajya Vygnan Parishat, the Karnataka Science and Tantrajnana Parishat and the State Educational Research and Training Directorate.
