Rally to pay homage to terror victims

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A rally will be taken out by the Kerala Hoteliers Forum from Thycaud to Martyr’s Column on Saturday as a mark of respect to those killed in the November 26 terrorist attacks in Mumbai.

The rally will begin from Taj Residency Hotel, Thycaud at 5.30 p.m. and will conclude at the Martyr’s Column at Palayam. A one-minute silence will be observed at the end of the rally and 1,000 candles will be lit.

M.R. Narayanan of the forum said the rally was being taken out to pledge support to those who were injured in the attack, the hotel staff who saved the lives of hundreds of guests risking their life, and the families of those killed.
