Hacked to death

CUDDALORE: A timber merchant, Natarajan (50), was hacked to death near Vandigate at Chidambaram on Wednesday.

The police said when Natarjan was returning home from his shop on a motorcycle, a group of persons blocked his way and attacked him. Natarajan died on the spot.
