Mandal deputy surveyor dismissed

HYDERABAD: A. Chandrasekhar, former mandal deputy surveyor, Batalapalli, in Anantapur district, has been dismissed from service by the government following his conviction by the Additional Special Judge for Special Police Establishment and Anti-Corruption Bureau cases, Hyderabad.

According to an ACB release on Friday, Chandrasekhar was trapped by the ACB officials on July 26, 1999, for demanding bribe.
