Garib Rath Special between Puducherry and Yesvantpur

Weekly Superfast Specials between Howrah and Chennai Central

CHENNAI: Southern Railway will run special trains to clear the rush.

Puducherry – Yesvantpur Garib Rath Special (02256) will leave Puducherry at 10 p.m. on December 13 and reach Yesvantpur at 8.25 a.m. the next day. It will have 16 AC 3-tier coaches and will stop at Villupuram, Vriddhachalam, Chinna Salem, Attur, Salem, Dharmapuri, Hosur and Banaswadi.

Howrah – Chennai Central (weekly) Superfast Specials (0839) will leave Howrah at 4.10 p.m. on December 17 and 24 and arrive at Chennai Central at 9.45 p.m. the next day. In the return direction, the train (0840) will leave Chennai Central at 9.55 a.m. on December 19 and 26 and reach Howrah at 2.20 p.m. the next day.

The composition will be 2 AC 2-tier, 2 AC 3-tier, 10 sleeper class, 2 general second class and 2 luggage-cum-brake van coaches.

Reservation for these trains will commence on December 13, according to a Southern Railway release.

Chennai Central – Coimbatore Super Fast Special (0621) will leave Chennai Central at 11.45 pm on December 13 and reach Coimbatore at 8 am the next day.

Chennai Central – Kochuveli (tri-weekly) Specials (0657) will leave Central at 3.15 pm on December 31, January 2, 5, 7, 9, 12, 14 and 16 arrive at Kochuveli at 7.30 am the next day.

In the return direction, the train (0658) will leave Kochuveli at 11 am on January 1, 3, 6, 8, 10, 13, 15 and 17 and arrive at Central at 4.50 am the next day.
