Firearm ammunition recovered

Pollachi: The Pollachi police recovered three bullets from a locked cycle shop on Nachimuthu Gounder Street on Thursday following an anonymous phone call they received. Pollachi East police received a phone call stating that there are fire arm ammunitions in a cycle shop belonging to Rajagopal. When the police went there, they found that Rajagopal had gone to Thiruvannamalai. With the help of his wife; the police opened the cycle shop and found a small packet containing three rounds of firearm ammunition.

The police suspect that some miscreant had thrown the packet into the locked shop and phoned up the police to land Rajagopal in trouble. Further investigations are on.
