World Disabled Day observed

The Agavizhi hostel for the visually challenged observed the World Disabled Day recently. Madurai District Disabled Rehabilitation Officer K.M. Kagairaj presided over the function. Addressing the function, he said that physically disabilities could be overcome to succeed in life. Prizes for achievers were also given on the occasion. Hostel founder M. Palaniappan participated in the event, according to a press release.
