Meetings today to redress PDS grievances

CHENNAI: Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Department will conduct open house meetings in all 14 zones in and around the city to redress grievances pertaining to family cards and the public distribution system at 10 a.m. on Saturday.

The meeting for the cardholders/applicants coming under the Chidambaranar Zone will be held at Don Bosco Primary School, Pidariyar Koil Street, George Town; Royapuram — Corporation Higher Secondary School, Tiruvottiyur High Road, New Washermenpet; Perambur — Corporation Higher Secondary School, Bunder Garden, Perambur; Anna Nagar — Corporation Primary School, East Namasivyapuram, Nungambakkam; Ambattur – Ambattur Municipal Middle School, Agraharam, Korattur; Villivakkam — Sri Balagurukulam Primary School, Thirumangalam Road, Villivakkam; and Tiruvottiyur — Aringnar Anna School, Netaji Nagar First Street, Tondiarpet.

In Chennai south region, the meetings would be held at seven locations. The meeting for those in T.Nagar Zone will be held at Nambikkai Illam Middle School, Ramakrishnapuram, Porur; Mylapore — Behind Corporation Zonal Office building, 115, Dr.Muthu Lakshmi Reddy Street, Adyar; St.Thomas Mount — Municipal Primary School, Keelkatalai; Tambaram — Adiparasakthi Marriage Hall, Perungudi; Saidapet — Corporation Middle School, New Street, Kottur; Thousand Lights — St.Joseph Boys Higher Secondary School, Vepery High Road, Periamet; and Chepauk — Chennai Corporation Middle School, 2/84, Surappa Street, Triplicane.
