World Tamil Teacher meet begins

CHENNAI: A two-day World Tamil Teacher Conference organised by Tamil Nadu Primary School Teachers Association commenced on Saturday. It would discuss various topics including the problems in teaching the language and the need to evolve new methods of teaching.

Tamil teachers from England, Malaysia and Sri Lanka have come to Chennai to attend the conference.

They are also presenting various research papers on teaching of Tamil.

A souvenir was released. All India Primary School Teachers federation general secretary S.Eswaran, State president S. Sahadevan, general secretary S. Anbazhagan were among those who participated.
