CHENNAI: Japan Patent Office, in association with Office of Controller General of Patents, Designs and Trademark, conducted a seminar on ‘Protecting and enforcing Intellectual Property Rights’ here on Saturday to create awareness among Indian companies, research institutes and education institutions about Japanese Patent system. According to a press release, this year’s focus was on enabling the industry members to enjoy the IP rights owned by them and educate the supporting police members to understand the power vested in them under the statute.
