Martial arts demonstration

Chennai: Malaysian martial arts expert Kyoshi Jamal Maesara and his German disciples Sensei Gunther Hoss, Sensei Siegfried Amesreiter, and Monika Leupold performed a seminar-cum-demonstration, here on Sunday.

Maesara demonstrated the techniques of Kobudo — the armed Okinawan martial art — and Aikido — the system of destabilising an opponent through locks and throws.

R. Thiagarajan, President, All-India Karate Do Federation (AIKF), presided over the event, and Karti P. Chidambaram, Chief Patron, AIKF, was the chief guest.
