Man feared drowned

One person was feared drowned after he went missing while fishing in the Adyar river here on Monday. Police said M. Arumugham (28) of Neruppumedu near Saidapet was seen fishing in the river around 11 a.m. A few hours later, his family complained that he did not return home. Fire and Rescue Services personnel searched the river till evening. Further investigations are on.
