T20 to phase out ODIs, says Jayasuriya

New Delhi: With the popularity of Twenty20 cricket rising fast, Sri Lanka’s Sanath Jayasuriya foresees a grim future for the game’s one-day format. “Cricket has changed all over the world. For the public to watch this game we need for it to change. The one-day game will be phased down. The IPL is good for cricket and good for cricketers also,” Jayasuriya said. — PTI
