NAMAKKAL: Collector U. Sagayam distributed a sum of Rs. 2,500 as assistance to a home for the deserted in Rasipuram and Rs. 1,500 as medical assistance to Ramesh of Namakkal town during the public grievances redressal day meeting on Monday.

The sum was sanctioned under the District Collector’s discretionary fund.
