Youth arrested for raping minor

Siva alias Santhalingam of Aatur near Salem was arrested by the police near Perur on Tuesday on charges of abducting a minor girl and raping her. According to the police, R. Ravichandran of Selvapuram preferred a complaint on August 12 stating that his 13-year-old daughter had gone missing from the school on August 7. The girl was traced and returned to the parents.
