Four held on criminal charges

KOCHI: The Ernakulam Town Central police have arrested four persons on charges of robbery and pick-pocketing.

Raghu, 54, of Elanthanninna Veedu, Neyyantinkara; and Abdul Khader, 67, of Thazhathuputhen Veedu, Puthiya Road, Kalamassery, were arrested for allegedly robbing a resident of Chilavanoor of Rs. 10,000, an ATM card and a mobile phone. The phone was recovered from the accused.

Sudhish, 24, of Kadavanthra was arrested while allegedly attempting to break into a shop near Shenoy’s Theatre at 2.30 a.m. on Tuesday. Radhakrishnan, 33, of Vallakadavu in Thiruvananthapuram, was arrested from a bus while allegedly attempting to snatch the wallet of a passenger near Padma Junction at 7 p.m. on Monday.
