Flood relief given to 2.20 lakh persons

Chennai: Nearly 2.20 lakh beneficiaries have received Rs.44.16 crore as flood relief assistance by the Chennai Collectorate till Monday.

The residents affected during the recent rain were given Rs.2,000 each, Chennai Collector Mythili K.Rajendran said in a release.
