Abhimanyu Pathak scores five goals

NEW DELHI: Five goals by Abhimanyu Pathak powered Chargers to an 8-1/2 to 3 goal victory over Royals in the Ratanada Cup four-goal polo tournament at the Army Equestrian Centre, Delhi Canotnment, here on Wednesday.

Gaurav Sahgal (2) and Rajesh Sahgal scored the other goals for Chargers, which started with a half-goal handicap advantage. Ravi Rathore, Vijay Singh and Gurpal Singh scored a goal each for the loser.

In another match, Knight Riders beat Indian 6 goals to 5 1/2. Akhil Sirohi scored four goals, while Aman Suhag and Arjun Patil scored a goal each for the winner.

Amer Warsi (2), Navjit Sandhu and A. Panchal were the marksmen for Indian which started with 1 1/2 goal handicap advantage.
