Thiruvananthapuram: The Janapaksham people’s campaign for the Vizhinjam seaport has appealed to all political parties to refrain from politicising the project and raking up controversies over it. The Janapaksham executive committee that met here on Wednesday said the final solution to the controversy over the project lay in securing a verdict from the Supreme Court. Any other attempt to settle the issue would only lead to an extended legal battle, posing uncertainties over the fate of the project, it said. Janapaksham joint convener Dominic presided over the meeting. © Copyright 2000 - 2009 The Hindu |
