Applications invited for vocational training

Chennai: Students who have passed their Standard X or XII examinations and are interested in short term vocational training in various courses can apply to the Chennai Corporation’s community colleges at Triplicane and Seven Wells.

A press release said the community college at 24, Arunachalam Street, Triplicane, would offer courses on business process outsourcing, customer relations and sales, and hospitality services.

The community college located at 38, Naattu Pillayar Koil Street, Seven Wells, would offer courses in business process outsourcing, information technology enabled services, electrical technician training, and cutting and tailoring.

Placement assistance

The duration of all courses is three months and placement assistance would be offered.

Applications could be had from these two institutions or from the Coordinator, Community Colleges, Ripon Building.

Applicants should have studied in Chennai Corporation schools only.
