AIADMK candidate files nomination

CHENNAI: The All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam has decided to field M. Muthuramalingam, former MLA, in the Tirumangalam Assembly constituency. He filed his nomination papers.

The announcement was made by party general secretary Jayalalithaa on Thursday. In another statement, she said that O. Paneerselvam, party treasurer, would head the poll work panel. V. Jayaraman, election wing secretary, would be his deputy. — Special Correspondent
