NEW DELHI: Several flights departing from the Indira Gandhi International Airport here to Lucknow were delayed on Thursday morning due to bad weather and low visibility at Lucknow Airport. On Thursday evening, three flights that had taken off from Delhi for Lucknow returned to the IGI Airport as visibility at the airport in that city dropped again, airport officials said on Friday. In a separate incident, a Jet Airways flight coming to the Delhi airport from Mumbai was asked to make a go around as it was approaching to land on the third runway on Thursday at about 9 p.m. According to the Air Traffic Controllers, this was done as another aircraft that had landed before the Jet Airways aircraft could not vacate the runway on time.
