Nellord shocks Gide

HYDERABAD: Unseeded Yannick Nellord of Delhi shocked top-seeded Rohan Gide of Maharashtra 3-6, 6-4, 6-3 in the men’s quarterfinals of the Sify All-India ranking tennis tournament at the Cosmopolitan Club in Bhimavaram on Friday.

The results (Quarterfinals): Men: Vinod Sridhar (TN) bt Kamala Kannan (TN) 6-4, 6-4; Arjun Goutham (Kar) bt S. Vijay Prashanth (TN) 6-4, 2-1 (conceded); Yannick Nellord (Dli) bt Rohan Gide (Mah) 3-6, 6-4, 6-3; N. Sriram Balaji (TN) bt P.C. Vignesh (AP) 6-3, 6-1.
