Kuala Lumpur: Saina Nehwal shrugged off her first match disappointment and played with determination to register two wins and enter the semifinals of the World Super Series Masters badminton finals here on Friday. The seventh-seeded Indian first thumped fourth seed Hongyan Pi of France 21-18, 21-13 in 34 minutes and then got the better of the sixth seed, Malaysia’s Mew Choo Wong 21-10, 17-21, 21-16 in 48 minutes to make the last four.
