Manav Das takes early lead

KOLKATA: A fine two-under par-70 enabled Manav Das snatch an early lead in the Goodricke Eastern India amateur golf tournament at the RCGC here on Friday. A stroke behind the leader was Abhinav Lohan and Akshay Butta.

As many as 84 players teed off and their cumulative total after two rounds would be taken into account to determine the seeding. Only 32 player will go through to the match-play stage. The tournament is the ninth leg of the LG Amateur tour. — Special Correspondent
