DVAC raids commercial tax check post

Coimbatore: The sleuths of the Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption on Saturday conducted dawn to noon surprise checks at the Commercial Taxes check post at KG Chavadi along the Tamil Nadu – Kerala border on the Coimbatore – Palakkad Road.

A team led by Deputy Superintendent of Police, DVAC, Coimbatore, D. Shanmugapriya along with four inspectors raided the premises. The checks led to seizure of Rs . 11,680.
