DVAC raid

The sleuths of the Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption on Saturday conducted dawn to noon surprise checks at the Commercial Taxes check post at KG Chavadi along the Tamil Nadu – Kerala border on Coimbatore – Palakkad Road. A team led by Deputy Superintendent of Police, DVAC, Coimbatore, D. Shanmugapriya along with four inspectors raided the premises. The checks led to seizure of Rs.11,680 unaccounted cash at the check post. A case has been registered cases against Subramania Kalanithi, JCTO, Radhamani and Dhandapani, Superintendents and Office Assistant Kuppuraj.
