ADILABAD: There was good response from unemployed youth to a job mela organised on Monday by the Adilabad Municipality under the urban Indira Kranthi Patham. As many as 13 companies came forward to select prospective employees at the mela. Adilabad MLA C. Ramchander Reddy who was the chief guest at the inaugural of the job mela said the government was doing everything to provide employment to the youth. He said besides filling up jobs through the APPSC, the government will now fill up over 50,000 teacher posts through District Election Committees. Collector Ahmad Nadeem said the jobs were now being offered at the doorsteps of the employment seekers. The government was also providing residential training free of cost so as to enable youth to take up gainful employment.
