APTransco engineer convicted in ACB case

HYDERABAD: The Special Judge for ACB Cases, Visakhapatnam, has convicted N.V. Ramana Murthy, Additional Assistant Engineer (distribution), APTransco, Pedagantyada in Visakhapatnam district, and sentenced him to one year’s rigorous imprisonment and fined Rs. 1,500. Murthy was trapped on May 19, 2001, by ACB officials when he demanded/accepted Rs. 2,000 as bribe.
