HYDERABAD: Sujatha High School, Abids celebrated its 43rd Annual Day on December 2 with fervour. Director of School Education P. Bhanu Murthy who attended as Chief Guest stressed the importance of Moral Science as the need of the hour. Bala Reddy, the principal of the school outlined the activities of the school and congratulated the students excelling in academic and extra-curricular activities. Cultural programmes followed the prize distribution. AMS P.Obul Reddy Public School O. Prahas, a student from Andhra Mahila Sabha P.Obul Reddy Public School at Jubilee Hills finished as one among the runners up in the doubles event of the recent All India Junior Badminton (Krishna Khaitan Badminton Tournament) held in the city. The boy from ‘Pullela Gopichand Academy’ won many laurels earlier too by winning medals in various tournaments. He brought gold in the A.P. State Badminton school games team championship in 2007, and emerged the winner in the doubles event of the Mini and Sub-junior open National Badminton Championship at Patna this year, apart from bagging many laurels at other events too. © Copyright 2000 - 2009 The Hindu |
