One-day strike today

All India Employee’s Federation has given one-day strike call against the Bill seeking to hike the Foreign Direct Investment in insurance sector from 26 per cent to 49 per cent. Consequently, the insurance employees will observe one-day strike on Tuesday, according to Insurance Employees Union Machilipatnam division organising secretary Gurram Srinivas.
