TPE&SU and Periyar qualify

SALEM: Tamil Nadu Physical Education and Sports University (TPE&SU) scored a solitary goal win over LNIPE (Gwalior) in a quarterfinal clash of the South West Zone inter-varsity football tournament for women at the Periyar University grounds here on Monday.

Earlier, host Periyar blanked Anna 7-0. Periyar and TPE&SU have qualified for the all-India tournament which begins on Thursday.
