Five-wkt. win for MCC, Malappuram

HARIPAD: MCC, Malappuram defeated MCET, Pathanamthitta by five wickets in the K.K. Sreenivasan Memorial all-Kerala cricket tournament at the GBHSS ground here on Monday. In another match, Blue Caps, Krishnapuram crushed MCC Mankomp by 135 runs.

The scores: MCET, Pathanamthitta 117 in 20.2 overs lost to MCC, Malappuram 118 for five in 16 overs (Shabeer 46 n.o.); Blue Caps, Krishnapuram 224 for eight in 25 overs (Aneesh 63, Arun 52) bt MCC, Mankomp 89 in 16.2 overs.
