Two killed in road accident

VILLUPURAM: Two persons were killed and 17 injured in a road accident involving a tourist bus from Karnataka and a stationary lorry on Tuesday. Police said that the residents of Anaikkal in Karnataka were on their way to Tiruchi from Melmaruvathur when the bus rammed the lorry parked on the roadside about 2 a.m..

In the impact Adhinarayana Shetti (45) and Nagesh (35) died on the spot. The injured have been admitted to the Ulundurpet Government Hospital.
