Robot’s Rubik’s Cube bid?

LONDON: It may sound too far-fetched to be true, but a robot is to attempt to break a Rubik’s Cube world record on January 8. And, what’s more interesting is that the boffins who created the robot have claimed that the RuBot 2 can solve the puzzle in less than 35 seconds, according to The Sun. Scientist Pete Redmond said: “The RuBot 2 is not the first Rubik’s Cube solving robot, but it has to be the coolest looking — and I truly believe it to be the fastest robotic Cube solver ever.” — PTI
