Shyam to bring MTS brand to India

NEW DELHI: Shyam Telelink Ltd. (STL), a telecom company having pan-India licence to launch mobile services on CDMA platform, has entered into a strategic tie-up with Russia’s Mobile TeleSystems to bring the brand MTS brand to India. STL, a joint venture between Sistema of Russia and Shyam Group, would be able to use the MTS brand in all its marketing communications and advertising in India. — Special Correspondent
